Richard Carroll

Podiatrist

Following Richard’s graduation from Southampton University in 2008 he has practised as a Specialist Podiatrist in various setting for the NHS and in private practice. Richard is the NHS Clinical Lead Podiatrist for Nail Surgery and holds an interest of all areas of Podiatry, however his real passion lays in the musculoskeletal field of Podiatry, in particularly lower limb biomechanics and sports injuries.

Richard is committed to continual professional development and maintenance of the highest level of skills and knowledge, having attended numerous postgraduate conferences and training courses, notably passing the Diabetic Foot Module and intends to pursue an MSc in lower limb biomechanics and musculoskeletal Podiatry.

Outside of Podiatry Richard loves to travel and explore new destinations. He is passionate about exercise and nutrition, regularly attending the gym and running complementing his clinical practice.
